The Ivytree Studio Story – Part 9: Today things change

It is LAUNCH DAY!

Sometimes God asks us to release something familiar before we fully understand what comes next.

Even when what we already have is functional.
Even when it feels emotionally safe.
Even when the idea of rebuilding feels exhausting.

This final chapter before the launch became one of those moments for me.

A Fresh Start for Ivytree Studio

For many years, I built Ivytree Studio on a platform that felt familiar and reliable.

It carried me through seasons of enormous growth and became deeply woven into the story of this business.

I understood it.
My customers understood it.

And after years of building systems, products, workflows, and digital resources, I honestly did not want to start over again. Especially not in this season of life. But slowly, things began changing.

Pricing increased.
Limitations increased.
Flexibility decreased.

And eventually I realised something very clear:

Ivytree Studio had outgrown the system it was built on.

At first, I resisted the idea of change completely.

The thought of rebuilding a store from the ground up while navigating menopause, exhaustion, technology shifts, and the increasing complexity of online business honestly felt overwhelming.

But every time I prayed about it, I sensed the Lord gently leading me forward again.

So slowly, quietly, and prayerfully, I began rebuilding.

Learning new systems.
Designing new workflows.
Simplifying categories.
Creating a cleaner, more modern store experience.

And surprisingly, somewhere along the way, excitement returned.

I realised this transition was not just about moving platforms.

It was about stepping into a new season.

A season with:
more automation,
better structure,
greater scalability,
improved customer experience,
and lots and lots of room for future growth.

For the first time in a long while, I could see possibility again instead of only pressure.

And today…

I finally get to share it.

REFLECTION

Sometimes the hardest part of growth is letting go of what once worked well.

Not because it was bad — but because the season has changed.

I have learned that obedience often means being willing to evolve without losing your values, your heart, or your purpose.

And that is exactly what this next season represents for me.

WHAT'S NEXT?

Today is Launch Day.
