I’m the founder of Ivytree Studio, a faith-based creative space created for women who love God deeply and feel things deeply.

I’m a mixed media artist, educator, and Bible journaling teacher with over 25 years of experience — but more than that, I’m a woman who understands burnout, sensitivity, and the deep longing to walk closely with God without losing yourself in the process.

Ivytree Studio was born from the conviction that our faith should be lived gently, rooted in Scripture, and shaped by grace — not pressure.

What it offers

I introduced the Ivytree Studio Creative Flow to give our community a consistent experience that inspires slow-paced, daily creative expression and time in God's Word.

It started a while ago when I launched the Gracelilly Daily Challenge, which the Flow is based on. The main idea is to use as many different creative ways to stay connected to the Word of God daily.

This is something that many women struggle with for many varying reasons. I know I do, and so it has been my life's mission to find ways to constantly return to God and His Word. One of our biggest struggles in life is the enemy's strategy to keep us away from God and His Word because He knows that is where our strength comes from.

The Creative Flow offers a point of reference, a place to belong and connect and a way of finding predictability in a world filled with chaos and overwhelm. It reminds you to come back to the Word again and again.

What to expect

I aim to offer regular content in smaller bites to connect one week to the next with the consistent creative flow that helps you know what to do when. The idea isn't to keep up with what I share weekly. The idea is rather to offer you a flow of resources and encouragement you can collect and always have a place to jump off from, to start and to continue forward with. I will show you exactly how.

Yes, there is free content for Subscribers, but also exclusive content for Club Creative Members and Artful Ways Members.

You decide when you need to connect and check in. You can follow along weekly, check into the website and read and download what you need. Sometimes there will be a video session to watch.

There is also a Community forum where you can share, engage and make friends.

The Flow

Each day of the week offers its own focus, and all 7 days are connected by

one focus Scripture

like a golden thread that is spread through your week.

From Meaningful Mondays, Technique Tuesdays, Word and Worship Wednesdays, Heartful Thursdays, Fun and Freebie Fridays, Slow and Creative Saturdays, to Sunday Pockets and Prayer, each day will offer you something meaningful.

The Meaningful Monday Club and its resources are the starting point, but I might also deviate slightly to include other projects, devotionals and Study Programs in our Flow.

The Hub

When you join my Subscriber's Community or Membership, you also gain access to the Creative Flow content and resources.

The Creative Flow is shared on Social Media, but the Main Hub is in the Hello Ivytree Studio Course (Free for Subscribers) and in Club Creative (first level of the Membership).

I might not share something every single day of the week, but there is a building library to collect and a structure to follow that will keep you in the flow.

One last comment to the woman who is reading this, feeling overwhelmed: "Girl, I am you. I desperately need a slow pace, and I know that when I take the time to be with Jesus and open His Word, it doesn't add to the overwhelm I may feel...it calms my brain and my heart. Open your Bible today. Take a notebook and pen and write down what God is saying to you. Perhaps add some creativity. Do that over and over again. Let me know what changes for you".

As a Subscriber, you will gain access to

the FREE printable journal

that forms the home and base for all our regular Creative Flow activities. You can personalise your own process, but this journal offers you a starting point and some structure.

On Mondays we engage in the Meaningful Monday Club Project. There is a year long Reading Plan that you can also use as Scripture Writing. The project format is small (A6) and we keep things simple. On Mondays we focus on the Scripture, write it out, ponder it and pray and perhaps doodle a little or add a Cute Cut element from the kits available in the store.

Tuesdays are about learning. I have found many women struggle to create journaling pages with balance and meaning. Do you feel like your pages are just a mish mash of random collage elements glued down without any cohesive artistic ideas or message? On Tuesdays I offer lessons and techniques on creative, design and art aspects that may help you in your journaling journey.

On Wednesdays we focus on digging deeper into God's Word. I might offer a devotional or verse map or lexicon Word Study on either the Scripture of the Week or a Scripture from one of our current study programs.

Thursdays are about heart matters. I might pop in with a message, a challenge, some information about Ivytree Studio, a Member Spotlight, testimonials, a story that may inspire or impact your heart or anything impactful.

Fridays might hold a free resource or a fun activity. I might jump on a live session to share some of my life stories, journaling or new resources. It all started with Club Creative Playdates many moons ago so I like to keep Fridays light and playful. Grab your journal and come join the fun.

On Saturdays, we look back over our week's flow. We print resources, prep them and journal the kits we purchased. We take our time. We doodle here, snip this, scribble a little there and exhale a prayer or two. We invite the Holy Spirit to join us, and we just breathe deeply. Journaling can be fun, but it should never become a chore or just another task we have to complete.

Sundays are for prayer and the Word, so we look in our Paper Buffet from the past weeks, and we take out a little Paperlove or a Pocket template I might have shared, and we create a prayer pocket and add our prayers based on the Scripture from the past week. And we thank the Lord for His mercies and grace.

Rince & Repeat!

The whole idea of the Creative Flow is not another to-do list.

It is a slow-paced, no-pressure, familiar and predictable system

that helps you stay consistent with your time with the Lord and your creative journaling.

Many women get so bogged down with life and overwhelm that they just stop doing anything creative, and they also don't know how to stay faithful and consistent with their Faith Life. Other times, it is just the stress of life, illness/physical pain, and growing older, that leads women to just give up. They stop journaling, and creativity disappears. They stop reading the Word and find mental struggles increase.

Did you know that reading your Bible actually has a positive impact on your brain health, which impacts everything else?

For Creative Christian Women, these two activities are essential:

Creative Expression and Reading the Word are the two main activities that are essential for

Mental Health, Brain Health, Spiritual Health and even Physical Health.

We need it like we need to breathe.

When you go through a dry spell, ask yourself:

When last did I journal? When last did I read God's Word?

If you can't remember how long it's been, open your Bible today

and write out a Scripture, and let me know what that did to your brain.
