Your faith is the foundation of everything you do. As a highly sensitive Christian woman, you likely find that your spiritual journey is intertwined with your emotional and creative life. Yet, it can be difficult to stay connected to God amidst the demands of daily life and the weight of your sensitivity.
In my program, you’ll discover how faith and creativity can beautifully support one another.
Through art journaling with Scripture, you can deepen your relationship with God in ways that words alone sometimes can’t. The process of creating becomes an act of worship, a way to meditate on His promises, and an opportunity to experience His presence more fully. You’ll learn how to integrate your creative gifts with your faith, growing spiritually while building lasting creative habits.
Every artist is unique. Every person God created is unique because He knew that it is through our unique approach, story and gifts that we impact one another. He wanted it that way. There is a lot out in the world for you to engage with. Why this? Why my program? Why me? Because there isn't another Ansu in the world. My story is the only one of its kind. My gifts are unique to me. What I know, God trained me in. There might be a lot of common ground between artists, but the way each person presents their gift, their teaching, their content, is and always will be one of a kind. If you want to learn from me, I invite you in. If you want to duplicate what I do or say or offer, you miss the point. If that is your motivation for following along or reading here or visiting me online, then you will walk away emptier than when you arrived.
Finding God and faith amid struggle, life and questions about yourself and your life experience as a creative person, is going to take a commitment and if you are side-tracked by how I present and package my work here and online in my classes and community, just so you can duplicate it because some of it resonates with you, you are also missing what wonderful path the Lord has for YOU.
Being entrepreneurial is one thing. Being truthful, honest, sincere and diligently seeking after your purpose in this life, is going to bring you much closer to your dreams of living a thriving resilient kind of life. Being true to what was placed inside of you as a GIFT, instead of looking towards the gifts of others and how they live it, thinking that if you could just be like them, do what they do or accomplish what they have accomplished, you would be fulfilled and you would thrive. That is the enemy's sales pitch. Don't fall for it, dear heart. It doesn't lead were you think it leads.
Why talk about comparison or copying others or duplicating what others are doing? Because it is a big problem among creatives. Many creative women have followed other career paths that has taxed them and burned them out. They see the joy that art brings and see someone like me do it full time and they think it is what they should be doing. The drop everything and start an online life. Let me tell you, Ms. Entrepreneur, it is not what is going to get you to that resilient life as a highly sensitive person. It might just create more chaos and burnout and financial strain on you and your family. Our insecurity, our self-doubt, our low-self esteem, our brokenness, our heartbreak, our questions, our desire to succeed and fit in, all leads us to places that will only cause more harm and heartbreak. I don't want a disappointed half-life for you. I want you to succeed and God wants you to succeed. This is the very reason why I always ask that women who sign up for my events or classes commit that they are not entrepreneurial/store owners/teachers/creative facilitators or want to become that.
It is not my purpose to lead you to own your own business in the arts. It is not what I am called to do. My purpose and mission is to lead women who are like me highly sensitive and creative closer to their Savior who will answer all of their questions and doubts, lead them to paths of healing and fill them with everything they need for this journey.
When you read my blog, engage with me online, sign up for courses and programs, I want it to be because you really want to find your own path and you are not side-tracked by mine or by how I offer things. In my work as a Teacher and Coach I show you the way to go, not what to do exactly. That is God's department. What I offer is support along the way. Someone to chear you on to success and breakthroughs.
